One Frame: Looking to the future

So I am currently sitting here at Cancun airport waiting on  my flight to board after capturing an amazing wedding on 11/11/11.  I cannot wait to see the loves of my life, my wife and daughter, and  I begin to think how blessed to have an amazing family and a “job” that lets me capture moments in life.  I have been doing this for a few years now and it doesn’t matter how many weddings I have shot, I still get butterflies right before the first click of each one.  I love every aspect of the a wedding day, but one of my favorite parts is the bridal session.  I love seeing the excitement in their eyes.  You can see them going back to that little girl who played dress up and looked into the future for her prince.  It’s a magical moment, and I am lucky enough and trusted to be part of it.  I love interacting while shooting a bridal session but also I want them to reflect in what is soon to come and let them just relax as I step away and just wait for little moments.  It’s great to look forward and picture yourself with someone who loves you as much as you love them.  That is what a wedding is about, love, and you can see them reflect on that.  Sometimes it’s less about the posing and more about the moment.  So to you future bride, I say dream on, realize that little girl’s dream and find your prince charming.  I will be there clicking away!

Brittany + Clint:: Hollywood Glam at Bass Hall

Brittany and Clint are a sweet couple whom we met last year.  We had a blast during their wedding and were very excited when their wedding was published in the Spring issue of Brides of North Texas.  The day was full smiles, and tears of joy.  We always feel blessed when couples give us the opportunity to be part of one of the most important days of their lives.  Here are just a few images from Brittany and Clint’s wedding day.

One Frame: When a man loves a woman

There are times that cannot be explained. Times in which silence speaks louder that any rolling thunder.  When a man loves a woman time seems to stand still.  Many times you can just see that a man would do anything for the woman he will spend the rest of his life with.  A life in which every waking moment he will see and remember and replay those few seconds in which he said those two words that changed his life forever “I do”.  There are many words exchanged on a wedding day, but to me “I do” are the ones that echo through my head. The ones that made me see the woman standing infront of me not only as my best friend, but as my life partner.  The one that will forever hold my hand and the one that would give me the strength to conquer all.  When a man loves a woman there are no walls that can stand in the way. As I took this frame I saw just that…a man that loved my sister unconditionally and purely.  I could not be happier for the both of them, and my heart sings  those cheezy Micheal Bolton lyrics.  When a man loves a woman.

Duncan Wedding: 7 Senses, Dallas

The past few months have been incredible.  My daughter is now 4 months, I have had the opportunity capture amazing images from amazing weddings and we are working on some amazing ideas to offer all of our clients in 2012.  Cannot wait to share all of the new ideas with all of you.  For now I wanted to share the with you the Duncan wedding at 7Senses I love this eclectic venue, and this wedding was just amazing. Fun details, amazing couple and as surprise in every room.  The minimal lights lets me do what I love…capture all of the fun,drama, and colors and it lets me get creative with my lighting.  As always we love your comments, let us know what you think.

Vianey::The Mansion on Turtle Creek

One of my favorite parts about covering weddings are the bridals.  The only problem is that I have to wait until after the fabulous day to show them off.  This is Vianey and we did her bridal session at The Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.  This is a beautiful venue and we always have an amazing time when we get to shoot here.  Vianey is one of our beautiful brides and we could not wait for her wedding (we have an amazing story I will be sharing of their wedding day on a later post). I leave you with some of my favorite frames from her session and hope you all like them as much as we do.
